How To Prepare For Your Appointment
Lash Extensions; the ultimate game changer! Here at Lash Baby we're ready to make your mornings easy, breezy with the amazing convenience of Lash Extensions! But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, it's important that we begin with best possible foundations! So to ensure your Lash Appointment goes as smoothly as possible, we've put together our top tips on how to prepare for your appointment!
1. No Coffee!
As heart breaking as it may be, on lash day it's best to skip the morning coffee. Caffeine is a stimulant which can cause your eyes to flutter and twitch, this can be irritating on the eyes (plus, applying lashes to a moving target can be a tricky task). It's best to have still eyes & be calm, comfortable and chilled out ready to relax!
2. Avoid Oils!
Prior to your lash appointment it's crucial that you avoid oil based products for up to 24 hours prior. No coconut oil, oil based make up remover or oil cleansers. These can create a slippery surface which lash extensions won't adhere to, to ensure the best results we recommend using Prolong Lash Cleanser.
3. Clean Lashes!
Ensure you give your lashes a nice long cleanse before getting eyelash extensions. To put it simply, lash extensions won't stick to dirty lashes. If you're painting a wall, you need a clean surface for the paint to adhere too - eyelash extensions are the same! If you arrive with make-up, build up or dirty lashes we will need to perform a Lash Bath which will incur a small fee.
